Happy Saturday! My brother sent me a message this morning asking if he could hang out at our house between his morning activity and dinner plans. Of course, we gladly took him in, and for lunch we headed to our go-to spot: Mr. Sushi.
🍜 The Smooch Food Snapshot
- The Dish: Seafood Yakisoba ($19.25)
- Location: Mr. Sushi, 176 E 2nd Ave, Vancouver, BC
- The Verdict: The best of all four yakisoba styles, loaded with tender shrimp, chewy squid, and briny mussels.
Checking my list of things I've tried here, I decided to get the briny, generously loaded seafood yakisoba ($19.25), and it's honestly the best of all four yakisoba styles on the menu, packed with tender shrimp, chewy squid, and plump mussels tangled through the noodles.

Mr. Sushi is genuinely the place that made me fall in love with yakisoba in the first place. I come here often without even blogging about it, just to order their comforting veggie yakisoba and crispy veggie tempura all for myself. It's my comfort place, plain and simple.
Have you tried all four yakisoba styles at Mr. Sushi? Which one is your favourite? Let me know in the comments below!
