Dinner at SushiVan

SushiVan is one of my go-to places when I crave spicy Korean noodles. Though, tonight, I decided to try something different.

As soon as we settled on a table, they offered hot tea and gave us a copy of their menu. It's quite extensive and deciding what to eat is a real challenge.

We end up ordering a lot, and after a minute of placing an order, they gave us the Miso Soup included in the set we ordered.

After ten minutes, five pieces of Takoyaki was served.

Takoyaki

As soon as we finished our Takoyaki, the Spicy Chicken Karaage arrived. It's much sweeter than spicy. It is better eaten with a cup of white rice so we didn't finish this and decided to bring it home where I can eat it for breakfast with warm rice.

Shortly before the Spicy Chicken Karaage was served, our Bento Boxes arrived.

Desserts at Cows

It's a hot and humid summer day at Whistler, so a scoop of Canada's Best Ice Cream (according to a Reader's Digest poll) is a great way to cool down. The ice cream is good, but it's the freshly made waffle cones (that you can smell from outside while waiting in line) are what makes this place unique.

Lunch at Thunderbird Cafe inside the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre

After doing the guided tour at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre, it's best to end it with a meal at the Thunderbird Cafe. I love the salmon chowder so much.
