In the last twelve weeks, I realized that we purchased and supported most of our favourite local restaurants like Suika , Lin Chinese Cuisine , and Sushivan . However, we have not ordered from Masa Japanese Restaurant, which is the closest Japanese cuisine source from our place. With that, we ordered our favourite and have tried new dishes from Masa today. Sushi & Roll Masa Special: Knights of the Round Table Deep-fried sushi rice with 8 kinds of seafood and special sauce The Knights of the Round Table was good, but I think the Masa Aburi Cheese Monster Roll is much better. Assorted Katsu Curry Japanese Curry with Tonkatsu, 2-pc Ebi Fry, and 1-pc Goroke with rice I'm happy to be having Japanese curry again. The last time I ate curry was more than a month ago when we ordered from Suika . Chicken Katsu Deep-Fried Chicken Cutlet with Vegetable and Rice The surprise of the day is the chicken katsu and how crispy it was when it arrived. The sauce it came with was delicious as well.

For dinner tonight, our family has dinner from Cravings Restaurant and Sports Bar. We had a great time swapping stories over delicious food. What do I recommend from Cravings? Homemade Clam Chowder Soup with grilled salmon. The soup was amazing! Nachos with BBQ Chicken The Nachos was good too as expected from a Sports Bar, however, delivered of course, some of the chips lost its crunchiness. What else to try? We're celebrating the birthday of our youngest sister. For lunch, she wants food from Eggspectation. What to get from Eggspectation? I ordered Chicken & Waffles. When it's available that's my breakfast staple. Meanwhile, hubby ordered Montreal Benny. My mom ordered Eggspectation Burger which is a surprise since she's not a big burger fan. On the other hand, my brother surprisingly ordered Lobster Omelette. Lastly, the birthday girl ordered Eggsuberant. Lobster Omelette My brother learned today that lobster and egg are delicious on their own, but does not have an impact together. Chicken and Waffle Chicken is delicious - I mean you can never go wrong with chicken strips. The waffle is surprisingly good. I'm going to say it - Lin Chinese Cuisine is the best Chinese restaurant in Fairview. We decided to buy food good for until Tuesday. What to eat from Lin Chinese Cuisine? For lunch today, we finished the Xiao long bao, Pan-Fried Cake with Marinated. Beef, Tan Tan Noodle Soup with Minced Meat, and the free Spring Rolls. Best Xiao Long Bao They have the best Xiao long bao that I have tried. I think it is best enjoyed in the restaurant, but in these times, even take out it's delicious. Xiao Long Bao Pan-Fried Cake with Marinated Beef It's okay, but the best Pan-Fried Cake with Marinated Beef I have tried is from Peaceful Restaurant. The restrictions in BC are slowly easing up, and we decided to expand our social bubble by visiting my family in Richmond. We spent a good portion of Sunday having lunch and playing games with my siblings and, of course, sharing a meal to celebrate our mom. Our mom loves Korean cuisine, so we decided to order some of her favourite dishes from Sumi Korean Restaurant. What to get from Sumi Korean Restaurant? Two order of Pork Goonmandu (deep-fried pork dumplings) The Goonmandu was delicious; of course, as expected with delivered food, it wasn't as crispy as what it would have been if we ate it at the restaurant. Last Tuesday and Wednesday after lunch, I will get this terrible migraine. I have to fight it through and continue working. After work (around 6:00 PM), today and yesterday, we decided to take an hour's walk around the neighbourhood. It's fun to be out and enjoy the beautiful day. It's also lovely to see the handful of restaurants open and doing their best to survive. We still keep our distance from people and would sometimes walk along the street (when there are no cars) to give way. Anyway, before heading back home after our walk, we decided to grab Caramel Iced Capp from Tim Hortons. I didn't have a migraine today, but I did get brain freeze. :) Thank God it's Friday tomorrow! Happy Cinco de Mayo! It's the third year in a row that we get Mexican food on this day. Last year, we went to Tacofino Taco Bar and ate a lot of tacos. The year before, we went to Sal y Limón . This year because of COVID-19, we can't dine in a Mexican restaurant. Instead, we had food delivered from Las Margaritas. As always, we ordered too much. What to get from Las Margaritas? Saturday means we can eat take out food. I have been craving for pizza and I really want Pizza Hut stuffed crust. Meanwhile, hubby wants dessert so we decided to get a Triple Treat box (I kept reading it as Triple Threat LOL). What's inside our Triple Treat box?
