House of Sisig

Sisig seems to be one of the usual company of beer or alcohol in the Philippines. Its history and origin seem to point in the province of Pampanga, but the taste, style, and ingredients vary everywhere. I would like to share with you my first-time experience in the House of Sisig in City Mall Philcoa in Quezon City (along Commonwealth Avenue).

Since I love sisig, I have tried many variations from different sources. From the Makati-famous Sisig Rada JolliJeep to Gilligans Restaurant, sisig is available almost everywhere at various price points. The sisig from House of Sisig offers a variety of sisig (original, tuna, chicken, beef, seafood, spicy squid, bangus, and crab). All sisig is available at (P105) with rice plus P10 for the extra egg. Boyfriend and I had their uniquely called SOMA (South of Manila) and NOMA (North of Manila) Sisig.

It's not the best sisig I have tried but tasty enough for sisig lovers like myself. For the look of the place, I fell in love with the wall with map wallpapers.

NoMa (North of Manila) Sisig Solo (P115 with Egg) (served with Mayonnaise)

SoMa (South of Manila) Sisig Solo (P115 with egg) (served with vinegar and chilis)

To end our meal, we had their chocolate mousse, which is quite pleasant after the spicy meal.

The House of Sisig accepts cash payments only and is open daily from 10am to 10pm daily. You could contact them thru this number 4071964.
