Metrotown Food Court Guide 2026: Menus, Prices & Map

I originally went to Metropolis at Metrotown today with one simple goal: update my photos of the Food Court menus. But as I was walking, I realized just how many food choices are tucked away in corners, down "secret" escalators, and even outside the main mall entrances.

I decided to walk every single wing to find them all so you don’t have to wander aimlessly while hangry. Whether you’re looking for a viral snack or a quiet sit-down spot, here is your definitive 2026 guide, organized by the actual map codes you'll see in the mall.

Quick "Smooch Food" Tips

  • Avoiding the Crowds: If the main Food Court (Yellow Wing) is full, head to the Cineplex Wing (Purple/Green) on Level 2 or the T&T Wing on Level 0 for more breathing room.
  • The Popeyes Hack: Don't wait in the long lines upstairs. The Popeyes in Section GK (Level 1) is often much faster and easier to find once you know it's behind the escalator.
  • Bakery Row: For the best fresh buns and treats, the Green Wing on Level 1 (near Superstore) is unbeatable with Saint Germain and Castella.

Level 2: The Upper Level

The Zara Wing (Orange)

The Atrium & Snack Row (Purple/Yellow Transition)

  • Between UF and UQ: Bella Gelateria / Lavazza Coffee (Located right near the Atrium).
  • Yellow Section (In front of UJ): This stretch leads toward the food court and features Stuffies Pastries, Hula Poké, Kernels, and Sugar Burst.

Level 0: The Lower Level

Level 0: Lower Level Map

The basement level is the quietest spot in the mall, centered entirely around the T&T wing. It’s perfect for a quick snack or a full grocery run with hot food options.

  • T&T Supermarket: The massive anchor of this floor, offering hot meals, dim sum, and fresh sushi.
  • Section LC (To the left of T&T): 101 Böba.
  • Section LC (Facing LD): Maxim's Bakery.
  • Section LD: Little Monk Pretzels.

The 2026 Metrotown Menu & Price Guide

To help you plan your budget (and your cravings), I've detailed the full menus for the most popular spots I visited today. From the weigh-and-pay at U-Grill to the viral treats, here is exactly what's on the board.

U-Grill (Section UM - Food Court)

If you want a meal that feels a bit more "fresh and healthy" than standard fast food, U-Grill is a great pick. It’s a 3-step weigh-and-pay system where you control the ingredients.

Step Options
1. Choose & Pick Select from 30 fresh ingredients including peppers, baby corn, olives, pineapple, mushrooms, broccoli, and snap peas.
2. Weigh & Pay $4.29 per 100g (Minimum $6.95 per order).
3. Grill & Sauce Served with steamed rice and your choice of 9 sauces: Teriyaki, Blackbean, Oyster, Soy, Garlic, Ginger, Curry, Chilli, or Korean BBQ.

Smooch Food Tip: Watch the weight! It’s easy to go overboard with the heavy veggies, but the Korean BBQ sauce is worth the extra few grams.

Oakberry Açaí (Section UM - Food Court)

If you're looking for a refreshing, nutrient-packed snack, Oakberry is the go-to. Their 2026 pricing is structured by size, with "unlimited" toppings included in the base price (though some premium boosters carry an extra fee).

Bowl Type Size & Price
Classic 12 oz | $12.50
Works 16 oz | $15.50
The Oak 24 oz | $19.50

Signature Bowls (16 oz | $15.50)

  • Crunchy: Açaí, Chia Pudding, Granola, Strawberry, Blueberry, Cacao Nibs.
  • PB & J: Açaí, Granola, Peanut Butter, Banana, Raspberry, Chia Jam.
  • Golden Almonds: Açaí, Almond Butter, Collagen, Almonds, Strawberry, Blueberry.

Smoothies & Lattes

  • Signature Smoothies (16 oz): Most are $12, including Tropical Beats and Berry Blast. The Berry Storm is a lighter option at $10.
  • High Protein Smoothies (16 oz): $12 (Upgrade to 24 oz for +$3). Popular picks: PB & Whey and Super Whey.
  • Matcha Lattes (16 oz): $7. Try the Açaí Matcha or Strawberry Matcha for something unique.

Smooch Food Tip: The "Unlimited Toppings" include favorites like banana, strawberries, granola, and peanut butter crumbs. However, watch out for the Boosters section—premium items like Almond Butter, Pistachio Butter, or Matcha Chia Pudding will add +$1.00 to +$1.50 to your total.

Vina Vietnamese (Section UM - Food Court)

Vina Vietnamese is perfect for when you want something comforting like Pho or a fresh Banh Mi. Their menu is extensive, but I’ve broken down the pricing for their most popular bowls and sandwiches below.

Thai Express (Section UM - Food Court)

Thai Express is all about customization. You choose your protein first, which sets your base price, and then pair it with a stir-fry, curry, noodle, or rice dish. They also have an excellent 'Lifestyle' menu for lower-carb or gluten-friendly options.

Step 1: Pick Your Protein (Sets the Base Price)

Protein Choice Base Price
Vegetables / Tofu$15.49

Battered Fish / Chicken / Beef$16.19 (Fish) / $17.09 (Chicken/Beef)
Protein Combos: Chicken & Beef ($20.24) | Beef & Shrimp ($21.44) | Chicken & Shrimp ($21.14)

  • Chicken Tom Yum Soup: $15.69 (Individual) | $19.19 (Trio)
  • Beef Pad See Ew: $15.99 (Individual) | $19.49 (Trio)

Thai Chicken Wings (3/6/9 Pieces)$6.50 / $10.50 / $15.85
Mango Salad$6.78

Smooch Food Tip: Watching the carbs? Check out their Shak-A-Bowl options or replace your rice with Cauliflower Rice (+$3.95). Also, the Pandan Thai Iced Tea ($6.70) is a unique find here that you don't see at every location!

Tim Hortons (Multiple Locations: UM & GC)

Since the Tim Hortons menu is so extensive and updated daily on their app, I won’t list every single muffin here. However, there are two key things you need to know about getting your Timbits fix at Metrotown in 2026:

  • The Dual-Level Strategy: There is a full-service Tim Hortons in the Level 2 Food Court (Section UM), but if that line is out the door, head down to Level 1 (Section GC) near the Atrium hub. It’s often slightly faster for a simple double-double.
  • Mobile Ordering: Both locations are very active on the Tim Hortons app. If you’re shopping in the Zara wing, order ahead on your phone so your coffee is waiting for you by the time you walk over to the food court.

Smooch Food Tip: If you're looking for a quiet place to actually sit with your coffee, the Level 1 location near the Atrium has a bit more "open air" feel than the crowded food court seating upstairs.

A&W (Multiple Locations: UL & Outside UT)

There are two key A&W spots you need to know about. The primary location is inside Food Court (Section UL). However, there is also a street-entrance only location **outside Zara (Section UT Outside)**. Crucially: There is no internal mall access to the street-entrance location.

Here are the 2026 menu prices I found during my walk-through at the main Food Court stall:

Value Deals & Wraps (Under $4)

Item Price
Buddy Burger / Single$2.99
Buddy Cheeseburger / Single$3.99
Chicken Buddy Burger / Single$3.79
Spicy Piri-Piri Buddy Burger / Single$3.99

  • Mozza Burger Combo: $15.18 (Double Mozza $17.18)
  • Mama Cheeseburger Combo: $13.98
  • Papa Cheeseburger Combo: $15.98
  • Grandpa Cheeseburger Combo: $17.98

  • Sweet Potato Fries / Large: $5.49
  • Onion Rings / Large: $6.49
  • Hot Apple or Strawberry Turnover: $1.79

Smooch Food Tip: The dual locations can be a lifesaver. If the food court is packed, exit the mall near Zara to the street-level location. It's often much faster for a classic combo or just a float, even if you have to walk around the building to get back inside.

Metropolis at Metrotown Food: Frequently Asked Questions

To wrap up this guide, I’ve answered some of the most common questions people ask before heading out for a bite at BC’s largest mall.

    1. Which food area is better at Metrotown?

It depends on your vibe! Food Court (Level 2, Yellow Wing) is the massive, traditional food court with the most variety (A&W, KFC, Thai Express). However, if you want something quieter or more "snack-focused," the T&T Wing (Level 0) or the Cineplex Wing (Level 2, Purple) offer more breathing room and unique Asian street foods.

    2. Where is the "secret" Popeyes at Metrotown?

Many people miss it because it’s not in the main food court! You’ll find it on Level 1 (Section GK). If you are standing near the now-close Hudson's Bay entrance on the ground floor, look for the escalator—the Popeyes is tucked right behind it and usually has much shorter lines than the upstairs vendors.

    3. Does Metrotown have healthy food options?

Yes! For a fresh, customizable meal, U-Grill allows you to pick your own veggies and proteins by weight. Oakberry Açaí is perfect for a nutrient-dense snack, and Togo Sushi offers fresh, pre-packaged grab-and-go trays if you're in a rush.

    4. Are there any sit-down restaurants at Metrotown?

While most options are counter-service, there are full-service sit-down spots like The Boss Restaurant (Level 1), and Kawawa Japanese Restaurant (Level 2 near Cineplex).

    5. What is the best place for dessert at Metrotown?

If you're near Superstore, "Bakery Row" (Level 1, Green Wing) is unbeatable with Saint Germain and Castella Cheesecake. For something viral, don't miss Uncle Tetsu (Level 1) for the famous Japanese cheesecakes.

    Final "Smooch Food" Summary

Exploring Metropolis at Metrotown is a workout in itself! With three levels of food spread across multiple wings, the key is knowing which section matches your hunger level:

    • For the Classics: Stick to the Yellow Wing (Level 2).
    • For Quick Treats: Head to the near Superstore on (Level 1) for Pretzels, Tim Hortons, or DQ.
    • For a Quiet Break: Descend to the T&T Wing (Level 0).

Happy eating, and I hope this guide helps you spend less time wandering and more time enjoying your meal!

Exploring Metrotown is a workout in itself, but the reward is finding that perfect snack in a quiet wing. I’ve included the map codes here to make your next visit a breeze—just match the code in this guide to the signs in the mall.
