We first heard of Peaceful Restaurant on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives . It is one of the places Guy Fieri visited in Vancouver, so we tried it once and we keep coming back. For today's lunch, hubby and I ate with my mom. Peaceful is known for their hand-pulled noodles, so we ordered all noodle dishes. We usually have a "default" set of dishes we like to compare across different spots. After watching the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives episode featuring Peaceful Restaurant, we knew we had to try Guy Fieri's recommendations for ourselves! We were just here last week for my birthday dinner , but we enjoyed the food so much that we had to come back to try the specific dishes featured on the show. It is one thing to see those hand-pulled noodles on TV, but it is another thing entirely to smell them hitting the table. The star of the show is undeniably the Peaceful Beef Roll . It is a crispy, flaky flatbread wrapped around tender five-spice beef, hoisin sauce, and fresh cilantro.
