I've been to Korea twice and had a taste of Korean food in Korea. Haroo brings the Korean experience in Richmond with its homey ambiance and great food. Our family celebrated my mom's birthday and father's day. Since my mom has been raving about Dai Jang Kum and how she wants to bring us there to celebrate her birthday, Therese and I searched for the Korean Restaurant with the highest rating in Richmond. My Foursquare and her Yelp app both returned Haroo Korean Homestyle Cuisine . We arrived at Haroo at around 7:30 PM, it was a cloudy day and finding parking space was challenging. Be more patient when coming to the area on a busy weekend, since parking will be difficult. We entered the restaurant, and it felt like we were transported to a Korean home. We were seated in the corner booth and was browsing through the menu. We're not sure what to get because there are so many options! My boyfriend is heading back to the Philippines soon. :( This is our last date in Canada, so we decided to check out the International Summer Night Market, also known as Panda Market. There are two summer night markets in Richmond; we decided to visit this one because it's closer to home. We had a great time! We had takoyaki and okonomiyaki while my parents enjoyed some fried squid. Okonomiyaki Takoyaki Food choices are few, but they were some unique items like the Chimney! After a great afternoon at Science World, we decided to take the longer route going back to Richmond. We went to Metrotown and took Bus 430 from there. Before heading home we had dinner at Manchu Wok (we ate a lot) and desserts at Crepe de Licious. I just finished renewing my Philippine passport and we decided to have early lunch at Taco Time before heading to Science World at TELUS World of Science. Taco Time Taco Time is a fast-food chain focusing on Mexican food like well, tacos and burritos. During our visit, we decided to try their quesadillas and my personal favourite tater tots. It's Taco Time! Mexi-Fries Deep-fried to crispy perfection, the bite-size potato gems are great for dipping in special hot sauce. Chicken Quesadillas Tasty and tender chicken strips combined with cheddar cheese, onions, and peppers.

My youngest sister loves watching YouTubers instead of the TV for entertainment. She said that one of the channels she watches wanted IHOP to sponsor them, but didn't. Instead, Olive Garden came and saved the day. She was so curious about Olive Garden that we drove 44km to the only branch in British Columbia at Langley. We surprisingly loved it! The unlimited breadsticks and soup are amazing, plus the pasta is delicious, and the desserts are over the top. I'd say it's worth the drive. Today, my boyfriend and I are going to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden. Before that, we decided to grab a quick lunch at our favourite Triple O's branch.   My favourite side dish: Garlic Parm Fries Triple Os signature fries made from fresh local Kennebec potatoes, topped with garlic and a side of Parmesan. Buttermilk Chicken Club Buttermilk Chicken patty, topped with Chipotle mayo, naturally smoked bacon, BBQ sauce, crisp iceberg lettuce, vine-ripened tomato, and Triple Os signature mayo. Fish and Chips Three pieces of crispy Ocean Wise beer-battered cod fillets with Triple Os signature fresh cut Kennebec fries and tartar sauce.
