Happy Sunday! It's the last day of the month, and hubby said that we should order ramen. Our order from Hokkaido Ramen Santouka Two-level containers with soup at the bottom and the noodles and toppings at the top. Hubby loves the containers for the ramen! The soup is at the bottom, while the noodles and toppings are at the top of the container. You just need to pour the container's top floor to the bottom floor to have your ramen mixed together. Kara-Miso Cha-Shu Ramen - Seasoned with hot spices and miso (fermented soybean paste). Egg noodles, a double portion of pork belly, green onions, black mushrooms, fishcake, bamboo shoots, and sesame seeds. I love the egg noodles in the ramen. Happy Friday! Hubby had a company-paid lunch. I ordered lunch for myself too. Donair Pro has replaced Donair Spot (blog post here and here ) in 403 West Broadway. The falafel was delicious. I requested meat, but they forgot. Falafel Platter - Falafel platter served with basmati rice, tabooli, hummus, pita bread, tzatziki, garlic, and mild hot sauce. I wonder what happened to the previous owner of Donair Spot. I went there twice, and he's such a nice, funny man. Happy Friday! Kain Tayo!

Happy Thursday! It's also National Lego Day! I ordered a "4 Privet Drive" Harry Potter Lego Set and got two free items. Unfortunately, FedEx didn't ring our doorbell or gave us a call when it tried to deliver it to our place, so we had to pick it up at the closest FedEx pickup point. Since it's National Lego Day, we decided to pick it up today. We also decided to grab donuts from Tim Hortons before heading home. Hubby requested that I get any limited edition donuts that they have. Looking at the menu, they're promoting the "Dream Donuts," and I got both Chocolate Hazelnut Éclair Dream and Sea Salted Caramel Dream. Chocolate Hazelnut Éclair Dream I enjoyed both donuts. It's surprisingly not stale. It's soft, and the filling inside the Éclair is delicious. I am willing to get it again. Sea Salted Caramel Dream The Sea Salted Caramel Dream is good, but not as delicious as the eclair. At least, it wasn't stale like the Dream Donuts from last ...

We watched Touch Your Heart Korean series, and they kept eating at Subway. 🥪 Because of the series and because Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills both lost their games today, I need to stress eat, so we ordered from Subway. Subway Hubby ordered a 6" Chicken and Bacon Ranch Sub Melt Combo with two White Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies and  Brisk® Lemon Iced Tea. I picked Chicken Caesar Large Wrap with Savory Caesar sauce. I prefer the Chipotle Steak & Guac Wrap last time . I hope you had a happy and restful Sunday.

Happy Saturday! I was craving fried chicken, and one of my favourite sources for juicy, boneless fried chicken is Redbeef Noodle Kitchen along 4th Avenue. This is our order from Redbeef Noodle Kitchen Chicken Cutlet Rice Pan-fried Beef Wraps My mom loved their beef wrap the last time we went there. We ordered it today and thought that the one from Peaceful Restaurant is still the best. Salt and Pepper Popcorn Chicken I love the Salt and Pepper Popcorn Chicken so much. I am so happy to ordered two servings of this and there's more pieces this time than when we ordered it previously.  Malay Sponge Cake I highly recommend this sponge cake. It's fluffy and soft. I wanted more. I can't wait to eat in the restaurant again to enjoy all this from the kitchen. Hubby ordered Tonic Beef Noodle Soup and it's the delicious. I actually prefer it than the Premium Beef Noodle Soup, but it could just be me. Enjoy your weekend!

Happy Saturday! It's NFL Divisional Round Weekend and Pokemon GO Community Day, which has no relation to why we ordered pizza. 😆 For lunch, we ordered from Papa John's for the first time. It's actually my first time trying Papa John's Pizza ever. Small Ultimate Meats Pizza 👌 Small Garden Fresh Pizza 👌 It's my first time trying Papa John's Pizza, and I still prefer Pizza Hut. However, I love their dough. Though the pizza doesn't have enough sauce. My youngest sister described it perfectly that a great pizza needs to have the right dough, cheese, and sauce ratio. This one doesn't have that. 7-Cheese Stuffed Cheesesticks ❤ The 7-Cheese Stuffed Cheesesticks are my favourite thing we got so far. It's cheesy and gooey on the inside and crunchy on the outside. Happy Friday! For lunch today, I had Filipino food delivered from the  KamayKainan Facebook page . I ordered three things: Kare-Kare, lumpiang shanghai, and pancit palabok. I made a terrible mistake and gave the wrong address. Instead of our street, I gave the closest cross street. Big facepalm. They're nice enough to deliver it still to our house. This is our order from Kamay Kainan Facebook page in Metro Vancouver Kare-Kare Creamy peanut butter stew with shrimp paste (bagoong) is so delicious with rice. Their spicy bagoong is fantastic. This is the kare-kare with most meat and vegetable I have tried. There's not a lot of sauce (compared to Tasty Pinoy BBQ Skewers at iba pa and Cooking Ng Ina (putaheng Pinoy) , but the amount of meat and vegetable more than compensate for it. I love how soft the beef is.   ...

Before the pandemic, we would go to the movies at least once a month. I love the popcorn and snacks, so today we finally ordered some to enjoy while watching the NFL Wild Card Round games. Popcorn from Cineplex Combo for two (large Cineplex popcorn, two large drinks, and Kit Kat Minis) Deliciousness that I can enjoy at home Shareable Sampler (Salted Pretzel Bites with Nacho Cheese Dip, Mac & Cheese Wedges, and Tasti Tater Snacks) I highly recommend the sharable sampler, except maybe the tater tots. I would love more mac and cheese wedges.

Happy NFL Wild Card Round weekend! Today is the first time we're ordering for the year. I miss The Wicklow Pub, specifically their delicious Yorkshire Pudding so that's where we ordered for lunch. Food from The Wicklow Pub Yorkshire Pudding Bowl The Yorkshire Pudding Bowl is delicious. Of course, nothing beats eating it directly from the kitchen instead of having it delivered but the Yorkshire, beef, and mashed potato with gravy is amazing. Pulled Pork Sandwich with Fries I enjoyed the pulled pork sandwich more delivered than when I had tried it at the restaurant. It's great. Coconut-Almond Chicken Tenders 1lb of Salt and Pepper Chicken Wings Perfect munchies for watching the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams game.
