Too Good To Go Review: Tim Hortons Doughlightful Bag (Broadway & Fir)

Happy Sunday! We finally took the plunge and used the Too Good To Go app for the first time. To start our food rescue journey, we decided to visit the Tim Hortons at Broadway and Fir Street at 10:18 AM to see what their "Doughlightful Bag" actually contained.

For a flat fee of $4.99, the haul was quite impressive. Here is exactly what was tucked inside:

  • 1x Blueberry muffin ($2.19)
  • 1x Chocolate chip muffin ($2.19)
  • 1x Chocolate chip cookie ($1.69)
  • 1x Chocolate croissant ($2.49)
  • 1x Cheese croissant ($2.49)
  • 1x Honey cruller donut ($1.69)
  • 4x Honey Glazed Timbits ($1.56)

The total value came to $14.73, which makes this an incredible deal. What impressed me most was the freshness. I actually saw the employee pull these items directly from the display case, so they certainly did not feel like "yesterday's leftovers."

I am officially a happy camper! I definitely plan to order again, perhaps closer to the evening, to see if the variety changes late at night.

Smooch Food Scorecard: Tim Hortons (Kitsilano)

  • 💡 Smooch Food Tip: This location (Broadway and Fir) seems to pull directly from the fresh display. It is a fantastic spot for a morning "Doughlightful" bag if you want items that feel like they were baked just hours ago.
