Happy Friday! My husband is currently away on a retreat in Mission, so I invited my brother over to finally see our new condo. He was the last of my immediate family to visit, and it felt so good to finally show him our space.
After a quick tour of the unit, we headed over to Pho Quynh Express at 1691 Main Street for a quiet Friday dinner. We ended up chatting for more than two hours about career paths and life in general. I really felt like a good Ate (older sister) tonight, just catching up and being there for him.

Review: Vegetable & Seafood Rice Noodle Soup
Since it is Lent, I am sticking to meatless options. I ordered the Large Vegetable & Seafood in Rice Noodle Soup ($18.57), listed on the menu as Mì Hoặc Hủ Tiếu Đồ Biển.
The Highlights:
- The Broth & Nutrition: The soup felt incredibly healthy and clean. It was not overly salty, which I appreciated.
- The Ingredients: It was loaded with a generous amount of shrimp and squid.
- The Veggies: If you love your greens, you will be happy here. There was lots of broccoli and a great variety of other vegetables.
If you are looking for a reliable, healthy spot near Main Street, Pho Quynh Express is a solid choice for a nourishing meal and a long conversation.
