C Market Coffee Vancouver Review: Breakfast on Main Street

Happy Sunday! After Mass, we walked to C Market Coffee on Main Street. I was here by myself for their opening day last month, and it was very crowded. Coming back today with my husband for his first time felt much better. The initial opening crowd has died down, so it is a lot more calm now.

What we drank

We sat down for a bit before heading over to the Vancouver Canadians game at Nat Bailey Stadium. Since it was his first visit, we spent a bit of time looking at the menu.

  • The Tiramisu Latte ($7.25): Hubby picked this one. He thought it would be like a dessert, but it was not as sweet as I hoped. He also complained that it was not very hot until he hit the bottom of the cup.

The Tiramisu Latte looked cozy with its cocoa dusting, even if it was not as sweet as we expected.

  • The Matcha Latte ($6.75): I got the unsweetened matcha with oat milk again. It was just as good as last time, but it tasted a bit more bitter today. If you like a strong matcha, you would like this.

A tale of two lattes: a vibrant matcha for me and a tiramisu latte for hubby.

Breakfast on Main Street

A white bowl filled with Korean bulgogi beef, sliced mushrooms, pickled onions, yellow peppers, and greens, served with a side of red sauce.
The Bulgogi Bowl is a modern take on a classic dish, packed with fresh vegetables and savoury beef.

For food, hubby ordered the Bulgogi Bowl. I had that the last time I was here. It is a modern take on the classic dish and it tasted the same as before.

A slice of thick toast topped with sliced avocado, tomatoes, and arugula, served with a side of smoked salmon folded into a rose shape.
This avocado toast with salmon was a gorgeous and healthy choice to fuel up before the baseball game.

I could not decide what to get for a while. I finally chose the Avocado Toast with Salmon and asked for no egg. It looked and tasted gorgeous. Sometimes it is nice to pick a healthy option that actually feels like a treat.

Off to the game

We are just finishing up our drinks now and getting ready to walk to the stadium. I love the rhythm of this neighbourhood. Going from a quiet cafe to a cheering baseball crowd is the best way to spend a Sunday in Vancouver.

Do you usually order the same thing every time or do you like to try something new? Let me know in the comments.
