🥳 Birthday Dinner Summary

It was my mom's birthday recently, and to celebrate, she had a craving for some classic noodles. To satisfy her birthday wish, the family headed over to Cantonese BBQ located on Capstan Way in Richmond, BC.
My dad took charge of ordering and ended up choosing so many incredible things. Every single dish that hit the table was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, I only managed to take photos of the first few items that arrived because I quickly became completely focused on enjoying the wonderful meal and the great company around me.

The first showstopper was the Combination of Four BBQ Items. It came beautifully arranged with barbecue pork (char siu), roasted duck, soy sauce chicken, and perfectly crispy roasted pork belly.

Right alongside the meats, we enjoyed a classic plate of silken Scrambled Egg with Shrimps. Honestly, because these were the first to arrive, they are the only two dishes I captured on camera before the feast truly began.
As for the rest of our table, we rounded out the birthday dinner with a comforting bowl of egg corn soup, savoury Yang Chow fried rice, vibrant garlic pea shoots, and two completely different types of noodle dishes to ensure plenty of longevity and luck for the year ahead.
We definitely need to plan a return trip here soon just so I can properly document and share everything else we ordered. Happy birthday, Mama!
