COBS Bread Main Street Review: Trying the Cheese Bun and Mystery "Buffin"

🥖 Sunday Morning Rituals: COBS Bread

📍 Location: COBS Bread (Main Street, Vancouver)
🥐 On the Menu: White Cheese Bun & Mystery "Cheese Buffin"
✨ The Verdict: A pleasant, reliable bite, though not quite mind-blowing.

Happy Sunday! There is something so incredibly peaceful about a quiet Sunday morning routine. After attending Mass at St. Patrick's this morning, Hubby and I took a leisurely stroll down Main Street to pop into COBS Bread to pick up a little breakfast treat.

One detail I appreciated is that they clearly display the calorie information right in their bakery cases. Since I am keeping an eye on my health goals and aiming for lighter choices, having that transparency made it so easy to navigate the menu and select the lowest calorie option available: their classic White Cheese Bun. It was soft, simple, and exactly what I needed.

Hubby decided to try something a bit more unique and picked up their curious "Cheese Buffin." To be completely honest, we have absolutely no idea what a buffin actually is! It is entirely muffin-shaped on the outside, but once you bite into it, the texture is wonderfully flaky and incredibly moist on the inside.

At the end of the day, both pastries were good for a quick Sunday breakfast, though neither left us feeling completely blown away.
