🍜 Bowl Breakdown: Cha Cha Cha
| 📍 Restaurant: | JINYA Ramen Bar |
| 🧄 Style: | For Garlic Lovers |
| ⭐ Smooch Verdict: | An absolute umami bomb. Deep, delicious, beautifully intense broth paired with substantial, thick noodles. It is an instant favorite. |
If you have been following the blog for a while, you already know that I am no stranger to JINYA Ramen Bar. I have been to JINYA so many times over the years, treating it as a sanctuary whenever those noodle cravings hit. But during my latest visit, I tried a bowl that completely stole the show, and I can confidently say it will be my absolute go-to choice moving forward.
Say hello to the magnificent Cha Cha Cha ramen.
Specifically designated on the menu "For Garlic Lovers," this bowl is a masterpiece. It features a rich, combined pork and fish broth that delivers an incredibly deep, intensely delicious umami flavour. Every single spoonful is packed with complexity. Floating inside the rich broth are tender slices of pork chashu, a perfectly seasoned soft egg, plenty of crisp bean sprouts, chopped onion, fresh green onion, and a generous dusting of garlic and chili powder.
What really seals the deal for me is that it is served with extra-thick noodles. Because the broth is so bold and heavy, the thick noodles do an amazing job of carrying all that beautiful soup with every single bite. Honestly, it was so good that I caught myself thinking, "I need more noodles, please!" It is just that satisfying.
