Verdict: A cozy, comforting breakfast stop. The not-too-sweet biscuits and the soothing Immunitea were exactly what I needed.

Happy Wednesday morning, Melbourne! It is our last morning in the city for this trip, as we fly out later today. My throat has been itchy and I was coughing all night, so for breakfast we decided to try Chai Biskit. They recently opened along Elizabeth Street in the old Dropout Chaiwala location.

Hot Immunitea and Classic Chai ($8 each, large)

As much as I wanted chai, their soothing hot Immunitea ($8 for a large) was what I needed to calm my throat. Hubby went for a large classic chai ($8), a creamy, frothy and sweeter cup that was perfect for his morning.

Assorted Biscuits ($3.50)

For a quick breakfast, we also got the assorted biscuits (cookies) for $3.50, in buttery, cumin and fragrant cardamom flavours. They are all so good and not overly sweet, which is exactly what I needed. They go so well with my hot Immunitea and hubby's sweeter classic chai. Hubby chose the biscuits to make sure we tried both things in their name: Chai and Biskit.

Samosas ($3.50)

I also could not resist the samosas ($3.50). They were crispy, golden and filled with delicious, soft spiced potatoes. A simple, satisfying bite alongside our hot drinks.

Final Thoughts

It was lovely to slow down a bit and enjoy our meal before heading to the airport. Chai Biskit was a warm, comforting way to end our Melbourne trip. Prices are in AUD.
