It was my birthday week, and the Filipino in me was having a serious craving for rice! You know how it is—sometimes nothing else will do. While we were walking around Cambie Street, we decided to stop by Peaceful Restaurant to satisfy that craving and have a nice, peaceful dinner.

To round everything out, we ordered the Peace House Rice. It was exactly what I needed to hit the spot for my birthday dinner. It's a solid, comforting dish that serves as the best base for all the saucy meats.
