A Timeless Embrace: Our Completed Burger Journey at White Spot

A Classic Comfort: Dinner at White Spot

Happy Thursday! Today has been a beautiful journey through some of my favourite local flavours. After a morning filled with steamed buns and sweet moon cake from New Town Bakery to celebrate Lunar New Year in the office, and a savoury Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi from Viet Sub for a company-paid team lunch, ending the day at White Spot with hubby felt like a warm embrace. There is something so timeless about this place that makes every visit feel like a special smooch-worthy occasion.

Practical Bites & Prices

We focused on making mindful choices while finally crossing off the last burger on our "must-try" list. Here is what we enjoyed at the Vancouver location:

  • New Town Bakery Treats: We started the day with fluffy steamed buns ($4.25) and a rich moon cake.
  • Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi ($10.50): This lunch treat from Viet Sub was aromatic and filled with tender chicken.
  • Bunless BC Chicken Burger ($22.50): A juicy grilled chicken breast served without the bread to keep things light.
  • Spot Salad (side to my Bunless BC Chicken Burger): I chose this crisp salad instead of fries to stay disciplined with my weight goals.
  • Double Double Burger ($23.00): Hubby finally tried this one! It features two savoury beef patties, a soft bun, and melted cheese.

Double Double Burger ($23.00): Hubby finally crossed the last one off our burger checklist! This timeless classic features two 100% Canadian beef patties, melted cheese, and that signature Triple "O" sauce on a soft bun. It's truly a savoury smooch-worthy milestone.

Spot Salad (as a side to my BC Chicken Burger): My mindful choice for the evening. A crisp, refreshing mix of seasonal greens, cucumber, and grape tomatoes, chosen over fries to keep my long-term health and weight goals front and centre. Every bite feels like a love letter to a healthier me.

A Grateful Heart

Even though I am working hard on my healthy lifestyle, sharing these simple moments with hubby makes the journey so much sweeter. Documenting our "firsts" at our favourite spots is a memory I love to keep.
