Happy Wednesday! My youngest sister is the biggest Pokemon fan. When she saw a TikTok of the Cadeaux Bakery treats that have cute ears, we knew we had to go. Even though my work is busy with events, we found a way to make it happen.
We walked twenty minutes from my office during lunch to catch the last week of the 16th Annual Hot Chocolate Festival. It was a short but lovely escape from the desk.

The Festival Flavours
- "For Good" ($12.50): This was my Wicked themed drink. It was a smooth matcha white chocolate topped with tart strawberry cream. The balance of the earthy green tea and fruity topping was perfect.
- "I Choose You" ($12.50): The Pokemon drink was very bright and lemony. Those sweet chocolate ears were the highlight for my sister.
- Ham & Cheese Croissant ($6.50): I paired my drink with this flaky croissant for a quick lunch.
A Smooch-Worthy Memory
I didn't get to finish my drink because I had to rush back for our company event, but I am so glad we went. Documenting this little date with my sister is so important to me. It was a truly smooch-worthy lunch break.
