The Verdict: Golden, perfectly toasted bread stacked with a generous layer of gooey melted cheese. A total crowd-pleaser!

After enjoying delicious Indonesian flavours at the Indonesia Festival, hubby and I continued our stroll toward Robson Street. On our walk, we spotted the bright, eye-catching Armstrong Cheese food truck, complete with giant melted cheese sculpted right onto the roofline! I just had to stop and admire it.

Hubby remembered seeing on Facebook that Armstrong was doing a pop-up tour handing out free samples, so naturally, we joined the queue. To our surprise, they were handing out generous portions of both their grilled cheese and their baked macaroni and cheese, along with a $3.00 coupon off any Armstrong products at the grocery store.

While both samples were delicious, the grilled cheese sandwich was the standout for me. The bread was toasted to a crisp golden perfection, loaded with a thick, gooey layer of warm Armstrong cheese inside. It was so comforting that I was instantly craving another one!

The macaroni and cheese sample was equally rich, served hot in an individual tin dish with a crispy, broiled cheddar top.

Both delicious freebies!

I think it might be time to drop by the grocery store, use that $3 coupon, and make another grilled cheese sandwich at home. (Note: This is not a sponsored post, but hey Armstrong Cheese, I'm open to sponsorships!)
