Happy Thursday! If you work in the office or find yourself looking for a satisfying lunch spot, you know how crucial a solid sandwich run can be. For a recent Thursday team lunch, we headed back to a familiar spot to try a different item on the menu: the Tacchino e Pesto ($14.50) from Dante Italian Sandwich.
This particular creation comes loaded with roast turkey, melty mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and a vibrant basil spread. When it first arrives wrapped up tightly in their signature branded paper, it looks perfectly pressed and incredibly inviting.

The absolute highlight of this grilled sandwich has to be the melted cheese pull. Just look at that stretch! It is the stuff of cheese-lover dreams and honestly makes for the most satisfying bite texture-wise.

However, despite the epic cheese aesthetics, my final verdict is that going with their non-panini options is generally the better route to take here. Over my visits, I've managed to try quite a few items on their menu, including the Americano, the spicy Inferno, and their classic Italian. Out of everything I've tasted so far, their cold Italian remains my favourite! The ingredients just shine a bit brighter when they aren't pressed down hot.
