Searching for a satisfying Indian dining experience in the heart of Downtown Vancouver? Look no further than Chakra Indian Restaurant, a hidden gem near the corner of West Georgia and Seymour Streets.

While online searches might not immediately reveal Chakra, visiting their location offers a delightful surprise.

A Buffet of Flavors (and a Lunchtime Surprise)

Arriving at the restaurant around 1:00 p.m., we were pleasantly surprised to discover a lunch buffet option! This delectable spread is available Monday through Friday for just $19. 95 offers a fantastic opportunity to explore a variety of Indian dishes at an affordable price. However, enticing lunch specials are also available for those who prefer a set menu.

My Lunch Special Experience

For this particular visit, the lunch special includes a set meal of butter chicken, channa masala, naan, rice, and salad. The butter chicken, while slightly sweet for some palates, offered a comforting taste. The channa masala, with its creamy texture and subtle tartness, provided a delightful contrast and depth of flavour. The warm naan and rice were perfect accompaniments, while the salad could have benefited from a touch more pepper. Overall, the generous portion sizes ensured a satisfying meal.
