Where to Eat Near St. Paul’s Hospital Late at Night: Denny’s Vancouver Review

Ah. It has been such an incredibly long night. I actually had to head back to the St. Paul’s Emergency Room for a reassessment and ended up having a minor outpatient procedure. By the time we left, I felt completely exhausted and a bit loopy.

We walked over to the 24-hour Shoppers Drug Mart to pick up my antibiotics, but with a 30–45 minute wait for the prescription, we needed a place to collapse. We decided to grab a bite at the Denny’s across the street.

The "Too Tired to Function" Order

Honestly, I was too drained to even think, let alone taste anything properly! I started with a refreshing Tropical Green Smoothie. For the main event, I went with a classic Club Sandwich—stacked with turkey breast, bacon, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on toasted multigrain bread.

The standard Club Sandwich: reliable comfort food when you can't think.

We also shared a Build Your Own Sampler platter for some comforting variety. We chose three appetizers: crispy premium chicken tenders with tzatziki, salty seasoned fries, and creamy chips and queso.

It wasn't exactly a gourmet date, but it was exactly what I needed while waiting for my meds. Now, time to finally get some real rest.
