Foy's Irish Bar Review: Chicken Fillet Rolls & Spice Bags on Kingsway

☘️ Pub Spotlight: Foy's Irish Bar

šŸ“ Location: Foy's Irish Bar (Kingsway, Vancouver)
⭐ Top Pick: Chicken Fillet Roll ($20.00)
🌶️ Missed Mark: Foy's Spice Bag & Curry Sauce ($20.00)
⚽ Match Result: Australia vs Paraguay (Draw)

I work for a company with its headquarters over in Australia, and we also happen to have offices setup in both Cork and right here in Vancouver. This evening, Australia was facing Paraguay in their final group stage match, so naturally I had to visit a proper Irish pub in Vancouver to catch all the game action.

Hubby and I made our way over to Foy's Irish Bar on Kingsway. To go along with the game, I ordered a classic Chicken Fillet Roll ($20). I am happy to report that this absolutely hit the spot, tasting just like an authentic version you would pick up from Dunnes Store in Dublin.

Hoping for a repeat success, I also ordered Foy's Spice Bag & Curry Sauce ($20). Sadly, this one didn't quite hit the spot the same way the incredible versions I tried back during our time in Dublin did. The search for a truly excellent, standout spice bag here in Vancouver continues!

As for the game itself, the match ended in a draw, which left us feeling a little bit disappointed. Still, it was great to be out enjoying the atmosphere!
