Pressato Sandwich Bar Review: Huge Calabrian Inferno Focaccia

🥪 Pressato Sandwich Bar Summary

📍 Location: 386 Robson St, Vancouver, BC V6B 2B2
🌶️ Dish Tried: Calabrian Inferno ($17.00)
🥖 Bread Type: Airy and light house-baked focaccia
✨ The Vibe: Massive, shareable portions perfect for a team lunch

There is nothing quite like a Thursday company-paid team lunch to make the workweek feel extra special. This week, our team's chosen cuisine theme was sandwiches, which led us to order from a local spot: Pressato Sandwich Bar.

I treated myself to their Calabrian Inferno ($17), which comes loaded with soppressata, Bomba spread, chili crunch, stracciatella, olive oil, and fresh arugula. The star of the show was undoubtedly the focaccia bread. It was absolutely delicious, so airy, light, and perfectly baked. The meat quality was excellent too, and the fresh arugula gave it a lovely peppery crunch.

If I had one minor wish, it would be that their spread and sauce had just a bit more punch to completely compliment everything else going on in the sandwich. That being said, the serving size from Pressato is absolutely huge! One of these sandwiches is definitely shareable, making it an incredible value for a midday feast.

Getting to step away from the desk to share a giant, delicious meal with the team is always such a great way to bond and reset for the rest of the week.
