đ Spot Review: Redbeef (550 Main St, Chinatown, Vancouver)
| What We Tried: | Curry Chicken Cutlet Rice ($19.25), Teriyaki Chicken Cutlet Rice ($19.25) |
| The Highs: | Crispy chicken cutlets, customizable curry sauce on the side, and consistently flavorful rice dishes. |
| Vibe & Location: | Convenient Chinatown spot, perfect for a cozy post-work dinner walk-in. |
| The Verdict: | A absolute go-to spot! Redbeef may be famous for their beef noodle soup, but their rice bowls are equally star-worthy. |
To keep our celebrations going, I was craving a hearty bowl of rice paired with something deliciously saucy after work. We remembered that our go-to spot, Redbeef, has a location right in Chinatown (550 Main St, Vancouver), so we decided to take a nice evening walk over!
Redbeef is widely known throughout Vancouver for their comforting bowls of Taiwanese beef noodle soup, but if you haven't explored their rice dishes yet, you are missing out. In fact, part of my goal for writing today's post is to keep track of all the rice meals we’ve tried here over the years!
Instead of sticking to my usual ordering routine, I decided to switch things up and try the Curry Chicken Cutlet Rice ($19.25). Pro-tip: I asked for the curry sauce on the side so the cutlet stays nice and crisp until you're ready to dip!

Hubby went for the Teriyaki Chicken Cutlet Rice ($19.25). His dish was a bit lighter on the sauce drizzle compared to the curry version, but overall still delicious and satisfying.
