Mr. Sushi Vancouver Review: Chicken Teriyaki Bento & Yakisoba

🍱 Spot Review: Mr. Sushi

What We Tried: Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box ($19.00)
The Highs: Lightly breaded teriyaki chicken instead of plain grilled, perfect noodle comfort food.
The Verdict: An absolute go-to neighbourhood staple when you don't feel like cooking.

Happy Sunday! You know those nights when you look at the kitchen and just think, "Nope, not tonight"? That was completely me. I was feeling a bit lazy to cook and had an intense, non-negotiable craving for Yakisoba. Naturally, we hit up one of our absolute favourite neighbourhood spots: Mr. Sushi.

While I satisfied my noodle craving, my husband went with the Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box and let me tell you, it is SO excellent! What really sets their teriyaki chicken apart from other spots is the execution: instead of just being plainly grilled, the chicken has this light, delicate breading that holds onto the sweet teriyaki glaze so nicely while keeping everything juicy. Pair that with crisp tempura, dynamite rolls, a gyoza, and fresh salad, and it's easily one of the most satisfying dinners around.

I just love this spot so much. It never fails us when we need a cozy, delicious meal without the effort!
