Happy Tuesday! It's rare for us to have anything delivered on a weekday, but well we have no viand to go with our rice so might as well order Filipino food. Last week, we had Chinese cuisine which goes well with rice, this week it's Filipino food. We were in the neighbourhood of Mount Pleasant (for Pokemon GO), and I told hubby that I'm craving for Filipino BBQ (or mainly savoury meat). Since Josephine's Restaurant is nearby (Main and 11th), we decided to grab dinner there. There were a lot of trick-and-treaters in the neighbourhood, which is a pleasant surprise. Restaurants and stores that want to participate have a sign on the door that they welcome trick-or-treaters. Anyway, for dinner, I ordered beef sinigang (tamarind soup), laing (taro leaves in coconut milk), lumpiang shangai (spring roll), and rice. Hubby ordered pancit (noodles) and longganisa (cocktail sausages). We had turon (fried banana wrapped in spring roll wrapper) for dessert. Pinoy Food at Josephine's Happiness
