Due to the delay on our Vancouver-to-Calgary flight, we had a tight connection: just 15 minutes to reach our gate, which meant there was no time to grab a meal.

Two hours into the next leg of our journey, however, we were happily served dinner. We had a choice between Shepherd's Pie and Vegetarian Lasagna. My husband and I shared, so I was able to sample both.

Each tray came complete with a side salad, a mini donut, a roll, butter, cheese, and crackers.
Between the two, I enjoyed the vegetarian lasagna more; it was notably less salty than the shepherd's pie. All in all, it was a perfectly acceptable in-flight meal.

Two hours before landing in Dublin, we were served an egg and cheese croissant which is great.
