Noche Buena with family at home

Our family has an annual tradition of eating dinner on the 24th and staying up until midnight to exchange and opening of gifts. In between, we would watch a movie or play games.

Every year, my younger sister always chooses a theme country. We are doing a traditional Canadian Christmas dinner with Canadian ham this year.

In the past years, we've had the following:

My youngest sister cooked the ham while my other sister prepared all the sides - mushroom soup, mashed potatoes, roasted carrots, and salad. I got the cake.

Noche Buena with the family

After dinner, our youngest sister baked cookies. Santa would be proud. Our only brother is feeling under the weather, so unintentionally, the exchange of gifts did not happen at midnight but in the morning. It is always lovely to spend time with the family.
