I love the pan-fried mushrooms and fresh vegetables drizzled with the spicy gochujang sesame sauce. Yum!

When we were still in the Philippines, hubby, me, and our close friend (and maid-of-honour) celebrated Pi Day, usually at Jollibee, for their Peach Mango Pie. I continued the tradition of eating a pie on Pi Day when I moved to Canada.

I didn't make any plans on where or what pie to get today. We ended up walking around Meinhardt Fine Food searching for a sweet pie and spotted the last remaining Peach Pie.

The crust is not as flakey, but the peach was sweet with a slight tartness.

For Meatless Monday, we cooked the Veggie Chili with Tortilla Chips for dinner from our HelloFresh box. We had a bowl of oatmeal for breakfast and enjoyed cheese quesadilla for lunch.

Simple but fantastic. This delicious chili is filled with beans, bell peppers, and tomatoes. Each bite is ternder and comforting. We suggest using the tortilla chips to scoop up and enjoy every last drop.

The Veggie Chili was spicy because I added all the chipotle powder. The tortilla chips included are thicker and perfect for scoopinng up the wholesome vegetable-based chili.

Creamy Chicken Alfredo from Pizza Hut

It's no secret that my favourite thing from Domino's Pizza is from their pasta menu: Chicken Carbonara. With that in mind, I asked my sisters to order the Creamy Chicken Alfredo from Pizza Hut to compare.

Alfredo sauce tossed with penne pasta, topped with seasoned grilled chicken breast, pizza mozzarella, and oven baked. Includes fresh breadsticks.

It's Saturday evening and we're celebrating our sister's birthday early. For dinner, they decided to order from Pizza Hut and my only request is that they order a large Creamy Chicken Alfredo which came with breadsticks.

It's surprisingly delicious, but I still prefer the pasta from Domino's pizza. It was not as creamy as I expected but the chicken was well-seasoned. The Creamy Chicken Alfredo is definitely a step-up from the dry Bacon Mac N' Cheese two years ago.

Other than the pasta, we had the usual Triple Treat box with modification of adding Mild Buffalo Wings because the birthday girl wants it.
